Jackie, Manager of the JCCTP

Jackie Foster, Brenna O'Brien and Evelyn Patterson are a mighty team of three, helping patients through their clinical trials journeys. 

Jackie Foster, MPH, RN, OCN is the Manager of NMDP Jason Carter Clinical Trials Search & Support (CTSS). Jackie manages the day-to-day operations of the program, plans and develops clinical trial patient education resources, and builds relationships with partner organizations. Jackie has been a BMT and oncology nurse since 2005. Her expertise is in patient education and program development.  

She received a B.A. in nursing and Hispanic studies at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and completed the Master of Public Health program focused on community health education at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.

Evelyn, Clinical Trials Navigator

Evelyn Bravo, BSW, MA, CMI-Spanish
Evelyn joined the NMDP Patient Support Center in 2020 as a BMT Patient Navigator. Prior to joining Be The Match, she worked at Northside Hospital-Atlanta, where she provided medical interpretation and support to patients and families within the Blood and Marrow Transplant unit. 

Evelyn received a Master of Psychology degree and a Bachelor of Social Work degree. She is also a Nationally Certified Medical Interpreter and bilingual in Spanish.

Brenna, Clinical Trials Navigator

Brenna O'Brien, MPH, RN, ONN-CG
Before joining CTSS, Brenna was a BMT Patient Navigator in the NMDP Patient Support Center. She also worked as an inpatient RN on the adult Blood and Marrow Transplant unit at the University of Minnesota. 

She has a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She is also certified as an oncology nurse navigator.
