Trial Details
Your own doctor will prescribe medical cannabis. This will also include the use of an inhaler or skin patch with cannabis. The specific directions for taking it will depend on the laws in your state. You’ll take online surveys every 3 months for 1 year.
You may continue treatment for as long as your doctor thinks it’s best for your health. The clinical trial doctors will check your health for 5 years.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved medical cannabis. Using it to treat pain associated with cancer or SCD is new and unproven.
